“What is SCARS?" It’s a healed truth, that you’ve been through and healed through didn’t stop you. It’s much deeper than putting on a band-aid; requiring us to dig into our minds to want to heal. A scar can be abuse, depression, sickness, fear, self-doubt, insecurity, etc.; in all areas of life. When we conquer that “scar” or our biggest hurdle, and share it, we can heal mentally, internally and globally.
SCARS is about connecting, uplifting, and healing together. In the twelfth chapter of 1 Corinthians, it says: “And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it...” So, as a body of Christ, we cannot function in brokenness alone--we all must heal together. The Bible also says in James 5:16 to “Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed...”
Through SCARS Uplift Association, we share our love, our pain, and what made us come to this day as opposed to what kept us from being stuck in those days; embracing the fact that we’re not whole… and that’s okay. When we come together on SCARS, we find healing as a body of Christ. SCARS would not be possible if it wasn't for His vision He put in me to help the people in desperate need of healing. I'm just a vessel determined to bring Him glory where it belongs. Thank you to my wife Nephratiti Givens who was the 1st to know about this vision. Not only that, she supported be along the way giving me ideas and she also recorded my intro to SCARS video.
